About This Experience

A specialist course of ten 90-minute Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) sessions, designed specifically for recovery after surgery and given alongside your surgeon's aftercare. MLD is a very gentle, light-touch treatment that follows the natural pathways of the lymphatic system. Post-op MLD is adapted to where you are in your recovery, and many clients find it soothing and calming in the weeks after surgery. It can help with comfort and post-surgery swelling. Your course includes: A complimentary 60-minute consultation and assessment at your first visit, where we talk through your medical journey, plan your sessions around your recovery, and make space for how you're feeling about it all. Ten 90-minute specialist post-op MLD sessions, tailored to your recovery as you go. The Root & Moss client manual, with guidance on caring for your body before and after surgery and around your MLD sessions. Sessions begin once your surgeon is happy for you to start. The full course is £950 instead of £1,200, which works out to £95 a session. Valid for 12 months from purchase, with extensions if your surgery date moves. All treatments are subject to a full consultation and signed consultation form. Post-op sessions begin only once the recipient's surgeon has given permission. Root & Moss may postpone or decline treatment if it isn't suitable at that time. If MLD isn't suitable, the remaining voucher value can be used for other Root & Moss treatments. Valid for 12 months from purchase, with extensions available if surgery is rescheduled. Sessions are booked to a plan agreed at consultation. Unused sessions can be converted to credit towards other Root & Moss treatments within the voucher's validity. You can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided no sessions or consultation have been used. After this, vouchers are non-refundable. If surgery is postponed, your voucher will be extended, and if surgery doesn't go ahead, the full remaining value can be used for other Root & Moss treatments.
